GROW FARM INLAND RESORT

Every now and then, My best friend and I would motor to their rest house in Bataan to unwind and re-charge. We usually leave Manila on Friday nights and return on Sunday after lunch. I love going to my friend's place for the endless supply of fresh fruits and sea foods like crabs, shrimps, sea shells, and native delicacies like suman, boboto, and bibingka.

The 144 square-meter or 1,550 square- feet rest house as viewed from the resort's pavilion.
Our recent trip to Bataan with my best friend...
 ...and expert driver Ate Nene.
Usual  breakfast is consists of crabs, shrimps, fried dried fish, scrambled eggs, longanisa, fresh fruits and coffee with cream. :)

GROW Farm Inland Resort is located in Barangay Parang, Batac, Bataan Peninsula about 2 hours ride from Manila. It sits on a less than two-hectare lot with several century-old mango and kasoy trees. It's branches serve as canopy and make the whole resort cool all the time . The resort is now open to guests and tourists. The place is suitable for team building, conferences, retreats, birthday or wedding parties, or simple family gatherings during Saturdays and Sundays. Entrance, swimming pool and cottage rates are reasonable. It is owned and operated by my friends, husband and wife Obet and Gigi.

GROW stands for the couple and their two children's nicknames. G for Gigi, R for Reign, O for Obet and W for Wissa. Reign and Wissa are their two lovely and intelligent daughters.
The resort has spacious open-air pavilion which can accommodate up to 200 persons and  up in the attic, with 20-30 persons.
One can have a better view of the resort while at the porch attic.
A resort is not a resort without the well maintained adult and kiddie pools. The construction of the Olympic size pool is on going.
How would someone resist dipping in the crystal-clear pool?
Small open-cottages can accommodate up to 10 persons.
...while big open-cottages up to 25 persons.
The resort has regular cottages which are suitable for guests who have limited or tight budget. Each cottage has a capacity of 6-9 persons.
Kids can play with seesaw, swing, or up the colorful tree house by climbing up stairs, or by rappelling.
..and go down the slide with glee!!
Main entrance to the resort.
Spacious parking area..

How could I ever resist my friend's invitation to go to this place? It is a home away from home. Enjoyment redefined indeed! Thanks to the hospitality and generosity of resort owners, Obet and Gigi!
